We had a fun Christmas Eve! We traveled through the snow to Kirkland to pick up Grandma Meg and then traveled some more to Seattle to visit Great Grandma and Grandad. We shared some pastries and fruit and opened gifts. We came home for a nap then headed to Mimi's for dinner. We played outside, visited with Angie and her son Mikel, called and sang to people, and shared some food.
We love to share our pictures and stories of raising a family of boys!

We are having SNOW much fun!
There is lots to do when the roads are bad and you are forced to stay home! Drue has spent the week with us and we have been creatively finding fun things for the boys to do out in the snow and inside. Here are some of the fun things we have been doing....
It is REALLY Snowing in Snohomish!
The snow started on Dec. 18th and really we have not had a day without snow since. The initial blast left about 11 inches. It has been melting a bit then snowing more. We are having LOTS of fun!

Makin' Christmas Cookies!
Lucas loves to do anything that involved being a "Big Boy" especially when it involves helping mommy and daddy. He loves laundry, sweeping, baking, and cooking. I sure hope it continues...I could use a good helper around here.
Santa Baby!
Warm Beach 2008
We are snowed IN for the second day in a row. No school for me...which means more days to make up in June. Oh well! I thought I would share a few pictures from our visit to Warm Beach a couple weeks ago with Mimi. Warm beach is a Christian camp in Stanwood that puts on an amazing lights display with more than 1million lights. Daddy was the photographer. Lucas loved all the lights, carolers, trains, animals, and horse rides.

Breakfast with Santa...
The Schreiber family invited us to the Santa Breakfast, at the Lynnwood Convention center. It is a charitable event to benefit Toys for Tots. We had a wonderful breakfast, heard a story read by the Grinch, and listed to an awesome holiday band. The FINAL thing we did was try and sit on Santa's lap....
Maybe next year :(

Neighborhood Christmas Party!
We are so THANKFUL for the block we live on and the neighbors we have. The Schreiber's hosted the annual Christmas party again this year! We had a blast eating, drinking, exchanging gifts, listening to music, and chatting. Boys are ALL that are born on this block. In almost seven years there have been SEVEN boys born...no girls.
It's the Holiday Season!
The holidays are HERE! It is our favorite time of the year! We decided to head downtown for the day. We rode the monorail, shopped in Westlake, rode the carousel, looked at lights, and toured the Gingerbread houses at the Sheraton. Lucas was in AWE of all the goes along with the season in Seattle. Our friends Jenny and Andrew joined us!
Fun with Daddy!
We are thankful that Si's second quarter is wrapping up! He has one more math final on Thursday and then he is done until Jan. 5th. With my two and a half weeks off during the holidays it will be the more time than we have ever spent together. We planning on relaxing, see family and friends during the holidays, and having lots of fun with the little man. We might try and sneak away to Leavenworth for a night. Who knows?!
Lucas and Daddy love to keep busy while Mommy is at school. This week the went to Jump Planet and the Imagine Children's Museum. Jump Planet is a HUGE warehouse with bouncy slides, rooms, and climbing toys. Daddy has to go on most of it with Lucas to help him climb. But as you can see he loves to FLY down the HUGE slides by himself.
