Family Portraits in South Carolina!

While visiting Papa and Nana in South Carolina we decided to get professional family pictures. My sister was even in town, and who knows when we will all be together again! I am SO happy we got the visit captured. I am also happy we got our first pictures together since Colby joined our family. Here are the best out of the 67 total.

Folly Beach ~ South Carolina

We took a drive around some of the islands surrounding the Charleston area and ended up on Folly Beach Island. It was a wonderful county park right on the water. We spent the day playing in the sand, flying kites, walking in the water, and having a picnic. It was a wonderful day!

Colby's toes in the ocean for the first time!

Lucas excited about shovels!

Si wrote Lucas in the sand...I love this shot!

Colby James ~ 2 Months!

It is hard to imagine our baby boy is already two months old! I had a little motherly guilt set in when I started to think about how few pictures we have taken of him since coming home from the hospital. Soooo I decided to start clicking away!

Colby has turned into the sweetest and most easy going baby! We are dragging him all over South Carolina, here, there, in his car seat, in his carrier, and he never makes a peep. He is always smiling and never fussing. One night he even slept through the night from 10pm - 5:30am, but it seems to have just been a Mother's Day gift because it has not happened again. He is sleeping a good 4-5 hour chunk and then three or so hour chunks after that. I was warned that having two easy babies was not possible, but I think we have been blessed again!

He is such a mama's boy, and I love it!

Look at those feet! My favorite baby part!
He is so smiley, especially at Lucas.
He loves this Tigger toy on his seat. He smiles at it,
talks to it, and seems to try to grab it.
He is just a sweet boy!

Preschool Mother's Day!

Today was a VERY special day at preschool! It was Mother's Day! Lucas was so excited to have me join him for an hour of preschool and I just love seeing all that the little ones do all day. The Little 3's had two special songs that melted all the moms' hearts. Mrs. Pawley also read the kids and mommies a story called "Guess How Much I Love You", there were no dry eyes. We had a special muffin snack that the kids made before we arrived, and the kids served the mommies. We also got to do a craft together. The kids painted and decorated photo cubes, and Mrs. Pawley took a pictures of the kids with their mom's for the cube. So cute!
