Beach Bums!

We loved every single moment of our vacation to South Carolina...but I have to say that the boys especially loved being in the water. We spent a couple days at Isle of Palms which is a beautiful beach close to Mt. Pleasant, and we spent another day on Kiawah Island just outside of the Charleston area. Here are some of my favorite shots (yes, there are MORE) that I got while playing with our very fancy new camera.

 This was one of the sweetest moments of being a mom of brothers! When we first got to the beach Colby was nervous and had no idea what all the water was; Lucas grabbed his hand, told him he was going to be ok, and lead him out to the water. My heart melted and before I knew it they were both splashing in the water and playing together!

 YES, that is a DEAD SHARK that they pulled from the water while we were playing at the beach. We think it got tangled in some fishing lines. We also saw two live sting-rays swimming and burrowing in a tide pool.
